Dead Poet Society - Band Fort Lauderdale Concert reviews
Awesome DMB Concert
Unfortunately, Dave had some problems with his throat, likely due to being on tour for a while, and these things can be expected to happen. I have to say that this was a really cool concert. Can't get much better than that. He may have upstaged Dead Poet Society - Band now that I think about it. I was extremely impressed by the fact that Jason Mraz was the opening act.
In order to make up for the fact that he was not able to sing, they had quite a good number of "showcase solos" by all of the band members. I was very impressed by the quality of their performance and to find out how truly talented the band is on their own right. I would have to give everyone there some big kudos for coming through and rescuing Dave. That said, I was a bit disappointed at the fact that all in all, Dave only sang about 10 songs. Hence, I did not provide the full 5-star rating that otherwise they would have deserved. Maybe the next show will be a better one, with Dave at his full potential.
